In fact, they are far away from us. Before we are born, our historical relationships begin to shape who we are. The Guangzhou Baptist Theological College closed in 1951, and the Hong Kong Baptist Theological College (formerly known as the Hong Kong Baptist Theological College) was founded in the same year. Legend has it that although the fire phoenix died in the fire, it was reborn from the ashes and spread its wings to fly high. Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary is like a phoenix. Its birth was due to the closure of Guangdong and Guangxi Baptist Theological Seminary. The delicate relationship between the two seminaries is more appropriately compared to the Christian belief in "resurrection from the dead."
