Samuel Yip (M.Div.) The missionary journey The year I entered the seminary, I was moved and began to have a burden for missionary work. After receiving confirmation, I raised my hand in tears to respond to the call at the missionary meeting; the tears were not from sadness, but because I saw the urgent needs in the missionary field. On the one hand, I am becoming more and more certain that God wants to send me on a missionary journey, and on the other hand, I am studying theology full-time; the two are not one at the expense of the other, but rather complement each other.
