Since 2009, Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary ("Baptist") has been committed to constructing a practical theology with "theological wisdom" (theologia). Preachers with "theological wisdom" can discern the heart of Jesus Christ and help people use His thoughts, feelings, and examples to practice what they believe in and respond appropriately to current situations. Practical theology emphasizes the practical wisdom of theology, which can be practically applied in pastoral scenes and social reality, so that people can be fearless in challenging days, ride on the spiritual wind, and move forward with perseverance.

Alben Wong (Th.M.) Rethinking the meaning of learning Graduation is approaching, and my heart is filled with gratitude. Time is limited, but grace transcends the limitations of time. My studies from Master of Divinity to Master of Theology were full of grace. I have to thank Baptist Theological Seminary for allowing a lazy person like me to enjoy the joy of learning again and again in ample time. During this period, the guidance of the teachers and mentors helped me to understand again and again what pastoral workers should read and why they should read. Samuel Yip (M.Div.) The missionary journey The year I entered the seminary, I was moved and began to have a burden for missionary work. After receiving confirmation, I raised my hand in tears to respond to the call at the missionary meeting; the tears were not from sadness, but because I saw the urgent needs in the missionary field.
