In the recent morning meeting, we had the opportunity to hear many new students share their testimonies of their calling. Most of them mentioned that they had never thought about studying theology or becoming a pastor. Many students initially struggled or were reluctant to embark on the path of full-time ministry. I knew a budding preacher who was in a different situation. He was called during his sophomore year of college and wanted to receive theological equipment immediately after graduation, but he failed to do so. He began working in society, waiting to one day enter seminary. Five years have passed, eight years have passed, and he is still waiting, waiting for God's time.
