content This course will learn how to use Lectio Divina as a method of regular spiritual practice in daily life. "Spiritual Bible Reading" has two other popular Chinese translations: prayer reading and spiritual reading. Spiritual Bible reading involves listening to the Holy Word (Lectio) and entering into meditation (Meditatio), prayer (Oratio) and silence (Contemplatio).
The class begins with understanding the origins of spiritual Bible reading, mastering the four steps, and applying it to individual and group spiritual practice. Afterwards, you will learn the compulsory course for all spiritual exercises, which is to master the methods and techniques on how to quiet the body, mind and soul. Finally, learn more about spiritual Bible reading through calligraphy spiritual practice.
