content | Icon painting is an important religious art and cultural heritage, and is also known as the "window to heaven." This course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of icon painting, how to appreciate the art of icon painting, and experience how to use icon painting as a prayer tool; Courses cover: 1) The origin, definition, controversy, positioning of icon painting and its relationship with believers; 2) The artistry of icon painting, its unique painting specifications and basic techniques; 3) Explore and experience the possibility of using icon paintings as spiritual tools to promote individuals and groups to establish an intimate relationship with God. Contents: 1. Enter the brief history of the development of icon painting art 2. Discover the artistic characteristics of icon painting and the meaning of painting techniques 3. Understand and reflect on the role of icon painting in church liturgy and prayer 4. Spiritual practice experience of icon painting 1 5. Spiritual practice experience of icon painting 2 6. Spiritual Practice Experience of Icon Painting III 7. Spiritual Practice Experience of Icon Painting IV 8. Discuss the daily spiritual practice and summary of icon painting |
