content A couple should originally love each other and spend their lives together, but after marriage they face various difficulties and end up considering divorce or experiencing the pain of widowhood. Although society and even the church have become more accepting of divorce, the parties involved often go through painful struggles in considering and deciding. This course will explore marriage problems, the divorce process, and the challenges of life after divorce from the perspective of Christian faith and psychology. It will help students understand the needs of divorced and widowed people, and explore ways of caring in the church.
