Energy Conservation Program

As of early 2021, 316 photovoltaic solar panels were installed on the rooftops of five buildings on our Sai O campus. From January to December 2023, 149,464 kWp of electricity were generated, providing enough power supply for the public areas of our quarters. The rooftop solar panels also help cooling our academic buildings and quarters. Resident staff and students as well as colleagues who live or work at the upper units of the buildings particularly feel the difference.

With the inauguration of our New Academic Building at the end of 2021, we have completed the installation of photovoltaic solar panels on its rooftop to further embrace our sustainability vision.
